Essex Youth Theater is a specialized program that uses custom-written scripts to guarantee equal roles for a specific number of students. Class size is kept small, with each child receiving lots of individual attention. And every semester culminates in a full-scale musical production.
Each class also incorporates acting exercises, theater games and improvs that help students express their creativity and develop dramatic skills. The atmosphere is supportive and nurturing, with an emphasis on self-esteem and fun learning.
